Players Code of Conduct

Do
  1. Respect your opponents.
  2. Respect the FIFA Laws of the game and Renfrew Minor Soccer constitution and by-laws. Also the referees, coaches, other players and parents.
  3. Play fairly respect the team and all its members.
  4. Avoid intentional rough or violent play or foul language.
  5. Respect the referees decisions.
  6. Respect and listen to your coach and follow his direction.
  7. Do your very best.
  8. Be on time and advise coaches if you cannot make a game.
  9. Care for your uniforms and return at the end of the season.
  10. Report incidents directly to the coach or your parents.
Don't
  1. Argue or participate in violent manner with parents, coaches, players, referees or spectators.
  2. Be verbally or physically abusive to coaches, referees, players or others.
  3. Act in a crude manner to other players and coaches and referees.
  4. Be late for games - your team depends on you.
Parents Code of Conduct
Do
  1. Set an example of control and consistency with the players and coaches and referees.
  2. Demonstrate constraint, resolve disputes off the field, never around players others.
  3. Respect the FIFA Laws of the game and Renfrew Minor Soccer constitution and by-laws.
  4. Teach your children the principles of fair play-equal play.
  5. Ensure your children respect these rules.
  6. Discourage intentional rough or violent play or foul language.
  7. Respect the referees decisions.
  8. Practice the 24 hour rule in conflict resolution.
  9. Report all injuries using the OSA insurance/accident report forms through your coach immediately after the incident.
  10. Report incidents directly to the convenor or executive.
  11. Ensure your children come equipped to play and provide them with water as required.
Don't
  1. Argue or participate in violent manner with parents, coaches, players, referees or spectators.
  2. Be verbally or physically abusive to coaches, referees, players or others.
  3. Place yourself in a situation where risk is evident or your actions could be perceived as abusive.
  4. Force your child to play or treat them negatively after or during a game.
Coaches Code of Conduct
Do
  1. Set an example of control and consistency with the players and parents.
  2. Demonstrate constraint, resolve disputes off the field, never around parents, players others.
  3. Respect the FIFA Laws of the game and Renfrew Minor Soccer constitution and by-laws.
  4. Practice principles of fair play-equal play
  5. Ensure your players respect these rules.
  6. Discourage intentional rough or violent play or foul language.
  7. Respect the referees decisions.
  8. Practice the 24 hour rule in conflict resolution.
  9. Report all injuries using the OSA insurance/accident report forms through your convener immediately after the incident.
  10. Provide first aid-where qualified or seek assistance from qualified first aid providers and seek medical attention when deemed necessary.
  11. Report incidents directly to the convener or executive.
Don't

  2. Be verbally or physically abusive to coaches, referees, players or others.
  3. Place yourself in a situation where risk is evident or your actions could be perceived as abusive
  4. Force your child to play or treat them negatively after or during a game.
